Diane Bouchier studied scientific illustration at Harvard’s Peabody Museum and botanical illustration at The New York Botanical Garden where she completed the certificate program. Diane is also the Founder of the American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA) which has emerged as the leading international organization encouraging excellence in this art form. Diane has exhibited widely, including having her work included in the 8th International Exhibition of Botanical Art at Carnegie Mellon’s Hunt Institute. More recently, Diane exhibited in the Long Island Museum’s exhibition “Animal Kingdom: From Tame to Wild.” Her preferred media are pastel, colored pencil, and egg tempera. She also teaches a range of natural history art and illustration courses at Gallery North in Setauket, NY.
